Privacy policy

What Pax Domini stores, and where it stays.

Effective October 8, 2026

What the app stores on your iPhone

This data is included in your iCloud and computer backups like most app data, which is how your campaign comes back on a new phone. Deleting the app deletes it from your phone.

Game Center and online play

If your iPhone is signed in to Game Center, the app connects to it when it opens so it can list your online matches. Game Center is Apple's service; Apple handles the sign-in, and your Game Center name is shown to other players in your matches.

When you play an online match, the state of that game (the map, the nations, each player's moves and recent events, and which player rules which nation) is sent through Game Center to the other players in the match. It is not sent to us, and nothing from your solo campaign is shared. Apple's handling of Game Center data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Purchases

Worlds are bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details or your Apple Account. The app asks Apple only which worlds you own, so it can unlock them.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
