About the studio
We make small tools people can trust.
Nova Meridia is an independent app studio based in Texas. We make focused apps for iPhone, each built around one job and designed, written and tested in-house.
Mission
The meridian we steer by
Make small tools people can trust: each one does a single job, keeps what it can on your phone, and would rather show no number than a wrong one.
How we build
The rules every app keeps
-
One job, done well
Each app is built around a single task. If a feature doesn't serve that task, it doesn't ship.
-
A wrong number is worse than none
A debt-free date, an electricity price, a daily water target: when we can't stand behind a figure, the app says so instead of guessing. Where it can, it shows the arithmetic.
-
Your data stays put
Most of our apps keep everything on your iPhone and have no account at all. When a feature does need a server, the app tells you what is sent and why.
-
No advertising trackers
We don't sell your data, and none of our apps tracks you for advertising.
-
Plain words
Every app has a privacy policy written to be read: what it keeps, where it keeps it, and who else ever sees it.
-
A person answers
Write to support and you reach the people who built the app, not a ticket queue.
